An interesting game for Fubon Braves (18-12) which played against 4th ranked Kings (16-13). Second ranked Fubon Braves managed to get a 5-point victory 103-98. Fubon Braves outrebounded Kings 51-37 including 38 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fubon Braves made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-1989, agency: BIG) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Fubon Braves' coach Chin-Tse Hsu used entire bench in such tough game. American center Thomas Welsh (213-1996, college: UCLA, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Deandre Liggins (198-1988, college: Kentucky) added 20 points and 8 assists in the effort for Kings. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fubon Braves maintains second position with 18-12 record having just two points less than leader Lioneers. Newly promoted Kings keep the fourth place with 13 games lost.
