Everything went according to plan when second ranked Shimane SM (39-13) outleveled at home 9th ranked Shiga L-Stars (14-39) 102-79 on Saturday. Shimane SM made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Shimane SM outrebounded Shiga L-Stars 34-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Shimane SM.
