Rather expected game in Nagano where 6th ranked Shinshu BW (23-26) was crushed by third ranked Nagoya DD (31-13) 86-64 on Wednesday. Nagoya DD looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American power forward Scott Eatherton (206-1991, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Takumi Saito (172-1995) chipped in 14 points and 8 assists. American center Wayne Marshall (211-1986, college: Temple) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and swingman Reo Maeda (191-1997) added 14 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nagoya DD have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 31-13 record having twelve points less than leader Ryukyu GK. Loser Shinshu BW keeps the sixth place with 26 games lost.
