Regular Season Round 60: Fukushima - Yamagata 84-75

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Fukushima (33-17) defeated at home 5th ranked Yamagata (18-31) 84-75 on Sunday. Fukushima looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and American-Finnish forward Alex Murphy (206-1993, college: Northeastern) who added 20 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) during the contest. The best for the losing side was American center Kenny Lawson (207-1988, college: Creighton) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Spanish-Dominican Orlando Sanchez (206-1988, college: St.John's) scored 16 points and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fukushima maintains third position with 33-17 record having five points less than leader Kumamoto V. Yamagata lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 31 games lost.
