An exciting game was when Third ranked Yulon Luxgen faced their biggest opponent Taiwan Beer. Yulon Luxgen (17-13) defeated Taiwan Beer (20-11) 80-69. Yulon Luxgen looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Pu Xia stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks for the winners and American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) chipped in 21 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side center Zhao-Hao Chen (200-1992) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jing-Kai Chen (190-1993) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Yulon Luxgen maintains third place with 17-13 record having seven points less than leader Bank of Taiwan. Taiwan Beer lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with 11 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will meet Jeoutai (#4) in the next round. Taiwan Beer will play against Jeoutai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
