Regular Season Round 55: Nagoya DD - Alvark Tokyo 71-67

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Alvark Tokyo (36-10) on the court of third ranked Nagoya DD on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Nagoya DD 71-67. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Alvark Tokyo. It was a great evening for American forward Coty Clarke (201-1992, college: Arkansas) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Scott Eatherton (206-1991, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) helped adding 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Nagoya DD players scored in double figures. Nagoya DD's coach Shawn Dennis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-1989, college: Siena) responded with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Spanish forward Sebastian Saiz (205-1994, college: Ole Miss) scored 6 points and 12 rebounds. Nagoya DD maintains third place with 28-13 record having thirteen points less than leader Ryukyu GK. Alvark Tokyo at the other side still keeps top position with ten games lost. Nagoya DD are looking forward to face San-en NP (#11) in Hamamatsu in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alvark Tokyo's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tokyo to the arena Hitachi SRT.
