An exciting game was when Second ranked Suns faced 4th placed N.Taipei CTBC. Suns (17-9) defeated N.Taipei CTBC (14-12) 109-99. Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Anthony Tucker (193-1989, college: MSUM) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. American forward Aaron Epps (207-1996, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and guard Ping-Sheng Lin (181-1996) added 28 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Suns. Five Suns and four N.Taipei CTBC players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Suns maintains second place with 17-9 record having five points less than leader Kaohsiung A. N.Taipei CTBC at the other side keeps the fourth position with 12 games lost. Suns are looking forward to face bottom-ranked GhostHawks (#6) in Tainan in the next round. N.Taipei CTBC will play on the road against GhostHawks in Tainan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
