Leader Alvark Tokyo delivered the 35th victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Gunma CT (19-25) 82-54. Alvark Tokyo looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Spanish forward Sebastian Saiz (205-1994, college: Ole Miss) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and American center Alex Kirk (211-1991, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Justin Keenan (202-1989, college: Ferris St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Czech center Ondrej Balvin (217-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Alvark Tokyo. They maintain first place with 35-9 record. Newly promoted Gunma CT keeps the seventh position with 25 games lost. Alvark Tokyo will again meet at home Gunma CT (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Gunma CT will have a break next round.
