Very predictable result when first ranked Ryukyu GK (41-4) defeated on the road 9th ranked Kyoto H. (13-35) 79-67 on Sunday. They outrebounded Kyoto H. 40-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court. Power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Allen Durham (198-1988, college: Grace Christian) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Durham is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. Ryukyu GK's coach Dai Oketani used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
