Regular Season Round 17: Kings - Pilots 95-85

Very expected game when 5th ranked Pilots (6-16) were defeated by first ranked Kings (15-6) 95-85 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American center Thomas Welsh (213-1996, college: UCLA) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 19 rebounds. The former international guard Kai-Yen Lee (182-1993) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Five Kings players scored in double figures. American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and Serbian center Nemanja Besovic (221-1992) added 24 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Kings. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Kings. Newly promoted Kings maintains first place with 15-6 record. Pilots lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 16 games lost. Kings will meet league's second-placed Lioneers in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pilots will play against Steelers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
