Regular Season Round 51: Shiga L-Stars - Osaka E. 79-78

A very close game took place in Shiga between Shiga L-Stars and Osaka E.. Tenth ranked Shiga L-Stars (11-33) got a very close home victory over 7th ranked Osaka E. (20-25). Shiga L-Stars managed to escape with a 1-point win 79-78 on Saturday evening. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Novar Gadson (201-1989, college: Rider) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Kiefer Isaac Ravena (181-1993) accounted for 13 points and 11 assists for the winning side. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. Shiga L-Stars' coach Luis Guil used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Spanish center David Doblas (208-1981) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Makoto Kinoshita (185-1997) added 20 points and 7 assists respectively for Osaka E. in the defeat. Shiga L-Stars maintains tenth place with 11-33 record. Loser Osaka E. keeps the seventh position with 25 games lost. Shiga L-Stars will again meet at home higher ranked Osaka E. (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Osaka E. will have a break next round.
