National League top team - Astana (22-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Caspiy Aktau (4-17) 108-52. Astana dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Caspiy Aktau's 20. Astana forced 19 Caspiy Aktau turnovers and outrebounded them 47-21 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Caspiy Aktau's players. It was a quality performance for American forward Antonio Campbell (206-1994, college: Ohio, agency: Network Sports International) who led the winners and scored 30 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Skylar Spencer (206-1994, college: SDSU) accounted for 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Four Astana players scored in double figures. Center Semyon Pinaev (208-1999) came up with 9 points and 7 rebounds and forward Konstantin Neff (199-1997) added 10 points respectively for Caspiy Aktau in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
