The game in Taoyuan supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked TB Herobears (14-10) played at the court of 5th ranked Leopards (5-16). TB Herobears smashed Leopards 120-88. TB Herobears made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. TB Herobears outrebounded Leopards 47-34 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 61.5 percentage. TB Herobears players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Maltese center Samuel Deguara (230-1991) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American power forward Diamond Stone (210-1997, college: Maryland) chipped in 24 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Elijah Thomas (206-1996, college: Clemson) with 35 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and the other American import Deyonta Davis (208-1996, college: Michigan St.) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TB Herobears have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Leopards at the other side keep the fifth position with 16 games lost. TB Herobears will play against bottom-ranked GhostHawks (#6) in Tainan in the next round. Leopards will play at home against N.Taipei CTBC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
