Regular Season Round 21: N.Taipei CTBC - TB Herobears 91-95

The game between third ranked N.Taipei CTBC (13-10) and fourth ranked TB Herobears (14-10) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. N.Taipei CTBC was defeated by TB Herobears in a tough game 91-95. TB Herobears looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international point guard Yu-An Chiang (174-1991) contributed with 22 points and 7 assists for the winners. American Marlon Johnson (208-1994, college: NMHU) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and the other American import center Kevin Allen (211-1994, college: Emporia St., agency: Players Group) added 23 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for N.Taipei CTBC. Four TB Herobears and five N.Taipei CTBC players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. TB Herobears have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. N.Taipei CTBC lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with ten games lost. TB Herobears are looking forward to face bottom-ranked GhostHawks (#6) in Tainan in the next round. N.Taipei CTBC will play on the road against the league's leader Aquas in Kaohsiung and is hoping to win this game.
