Regular Season Round 16: Steelers - Kings 94-105

PLeague+ top team - Kings (14-6) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Steelers (5-17) in Kaohsiung 105-94. They outrebounded Steelers 58-36 including a 44-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American forward Deandre Liggins (198-1988, college: Kentucky) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Kai-Yen Lee (182-1993) supported him with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Kings players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 36 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 assists by Canadian forward Anthony Bennett (203-1993, college: UNLV) did not help to save the game for Steelers. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-1986) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Kings have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Kings maintains first position with 14-6 record. Steelers lost third consecutive game. Steelers at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. Kings will meet Pilots (#5) in the next round. Steelers will play against Pilots and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
