The most exciting game of round 53 in the B2 League took place in Hyogo. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Sendai 89ers (30-14) to third ranked Nishinomiya S. (29-15) 76-75 in the game for the second place. Four Sendai 89ers players scored in double figures. Nishinomiya S. moved-up to second place, which they share with Kagawa FA. Sendai 89ers at the other side keep the second position with 14 games lost.
