Regular Season Round 48: Ryukyu GK - Shiga L-Stars 92-50

B1 League top team - Ryukyu GK (38-4) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Shiga L-Stars (10-32) in Okinawa 92-50. Ryukyu GK dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Shiga L-Stars' 28. They outrebounded Shiga L-Stars 41-23 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field). Forward Dwayne Evans (201-1992, college: St.Louis, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. Power forward Sean OMara (208-1995, college: Xavier, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Worth Smith (198-1993, college: Navy) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Shiga L-Stars. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ryukyu GK have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 38-4 record. Shiga L-Stars lost fourteenth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 32 games lost.
