Regular Season Round 52: Fukuoka R. - Kumamoto V. 83-114

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Kumamoto V. (31-15) smashed on the road 6th ranked Fukuoka R. (17-27) 114-83 on Sunday. Kumamoto V. dominated down low during the game scoring 94 of its points in the paint compared to Fukuoka R.'s 58. They outrebounded Fukuoka R. 43-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Kumamoto V. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists and the other American import swingman LJ Peak (196-1996, college: Georgetown, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 36 points (!!!) during the contest. Five Kumamoto V. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Stedmon Lemon (198-1992, college: JCSU) responded with 30 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-1986, college: Tulsa, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 19 points. Fukuoka R.'s coach Eiki Umezaki gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Kumamoto V. have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 31-15 record. Loser Fukuoka R. keeps the sixth place with 27 games lost. Kumamoto V. will meet at home Bambitious N. (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Fukuoka R. will play against Yamagata and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
