Regular Season Round 18: Dewa United - Hangtuah 78-75

A very close game took place in between Dewa United and Hangtuah. Fourth ranked Dewa United (12-8) got a very close home victory over 6th ranked Hangtuah (11-10). Dewa United managed to escape with a 3-point win 78-75 on Sunday evening. American guard David Seagers (188-1988, college: Dowling) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Xaverius Prawiro (181-1986) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists during the contest. Dewa United's coach Andika Saputra used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American center Anton Waters (200-1993, college: WKU) with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Fisyaiful Amir (183-1995) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Dewa United moved-up to second place, which they share with WBS. Loser Hangtuah dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Rans Pik. Dewa United will meet at home league's leader Pelita Jaya in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hangtuah's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Jakarta NSH.
