T1 League top team - Aquas (17-6) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked GhostHawks (4-17) in Tainan 103-93. Aquas forced 23 GhostHawks turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by GhostHawks' players. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 19 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Tanzanian center Hasheem Thabeet (218-1987, college: UConn) produced 26 points and 8 rebounds and the former international power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) added 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Five Aquas and four GhostHawks players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aquas maintains first place with 17-6 record. Loser GhostHawks stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Aquas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. GhostHawks will play again against the league's leader Aquas (#1) in Kaohsiung and hope to secure a win.
