Rather expected game when 5th ranked Leopards (5-15) were defeated by second ranked Suns (14-8) 98-93 on Sunday. Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 21 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Anthony Tucker (193-1989, college: MSUM) chipped in 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American Deyonta Davis (208-1996, college: Michigan St.) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import Troy Williams (201-1994, college: Indiana) added 19 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Suns and four Leopards players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Suns have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 14-8 record having four points less than leader Kaohsiung A. Loser Leopards keep the fifth position with 15 games lost. Suns will meet bottom-ranked GhostHawks (#6) in the next round. Leopards will play again against the league's second-placed Suns in Taichung and hope to secure a win.
