Regular Season Round 47: Shinshu BW - Ryukyu GK 66-73

Leader Ryukyu GK delivered the 37th victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Shinshu BW (20-24) 73-66 in Nagano. They outrebounded Shinshu BW 36-20 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ryukyu GK players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward Dwayne Evans (201-1992, college: St.Louis, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Koh Flippin (190-1996, college: Doane) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American center Wayne Marshall (211-1986, college: Temple) answered with 16 points and point guard Ko Kumagai (173-1996) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Shinshu BW. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ryukyu GK (37-4) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place.
