Regular Season Round 15: Dreamers - Steelers 80-96

Very important is a loss of third ranked Dreamers (10-7) against sixth ranked Steelers (5-15) on Saturday night. Dreamers were defeated by Steelers 96-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dreamers. Steelers forced 23 Dreamers turnovers. It was a good game for point guard Yu-Wei Chen (183-1999) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 7 rebounds. American Manny Harris (197-1989, college: Michigan, agency: Network Sports International) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. American guard Steph Hicks (198-1992, college: CSUN) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import guard Randall Walko (196-1998, college: TCNJ) added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Dreamers. Five Steelers and four Dreamers players scored in double figures. Dreamers' coach Kyle Julius rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Steelers maintains sixth place with 5-15 record. Dreamers at the other side keep the third position with seven games lost. Steelers will play against league's leader Fubon Braves in Taipei in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dreamers will play on the road against the league's second-placed Kings in Taipei and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
