The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Kawasaki BT (31-11) in Kanagawa on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Nagoya DD (25-11) 89-84. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Kawasaki BT. Nagoya DD looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Nagoya DD maintains third position with 25-11 record having 6 victories less than leader Ryukyu GK. Kawasaki BT at the other side still keeps top place with 11 games lost. Nagoya DD will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kawasaki BT will play again at home against Nagoya DD and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
