Regular Season Round 46: Tochigi Brex - Shiga L-Stars 102-65

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Tochigi Brex (29-13) outscored at home 10th ranked Shiga L-Stars (10-29) 102-65 on Saturday. Tochigi Brex dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Shiga L-Stars' 34. It was a great shooting night for Tochigi Brex especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Shiga L-Stars' players. Tongan-New Zealand Isaac Fotu (203-1993, college: Hawaii) fired 28 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners. American power forward Josh Scott (208-1993, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. American power forward Sean OMara (208-1995, college: Xavier, agency: Inception Sports) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Novar Gadson (201-1989, college: Rider) added 13 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tochigi Brex maintains third position with 29-13 record having just two points less than leader Ryukyu GK. Shiga L-Stars lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 29 games lost. Tochigi Brex will again meet at home Shiga L-Stars (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Shiga L-Stars will have a break next round.
