Important game to mention about took place in Surabaya. Fifth ranked Indonesia P. (6-12) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 3rd ranked Pacific Caesar (8-10) 68-66 on Wednesday evening. Indonesia P. had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Dame Diagne (197) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points and 18 rebounds and guard Julian Chalias (188) supported him with 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by American Akeem Ellis (196-1990, college: Coppin St., agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Pacific Caesar. Calvin Chrissler (175-1998) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Indonesia P. maintains fifth position with 6-12 record. Pacific Caesar at the other side keeps the third place with ten games lost. They share the position with Bumi Borneo. Indonesia P. will play against Tangerang (#7) in the next round. Pacific Caesar will play against Bima Perkasa (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
