There was a small surprise in Urumqi where fourteenth ranked Flying Tigers (18-20) won against 12th ranked Pioneers (19-19) 124-119 on Tuesday. Flying Tigers made 32-of-36 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game, while Pioneers only scored sixteen points from the stripe. Flying Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Pioneers' players. It was a great evening for American center Arnett Moultrie (208-1990, college: MSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. Lin Qi (200-1999) helped adding 22 points and 5 assists. At the losing side American point guard Kenny Boynton (188-1991, college: Florida) responded with 47 points (!!!) and American-Montenegrin point guard Taylor Rochestie (186-1985, college: WSU) scored 19 points and 5 assists. Four Flying Tigers and five Pioneers players scored in double figures. Pioneers' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Flying Tigers moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Beijing RF. Loser Pioneers keep the twelfth position with 19 games lost.
