Regular Season Round 12: Taipower - Chunghua T. 61-56

The most important game in the last round was the one between third ranked Chunghwa Telecom (3-8) and fourth ranked Taipower (2-9) on Friday night. Chunghwa Telecom was defeated by Taipower in a tough game 56-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Chunghwa Telecom. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Meng-Xin Chen (163-1999) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 assists and 5 steals and the former international forward Yi-Tao Su (175-1992) who added 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) with 24 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Yushu Lin (168-1996) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Taipower maintains fourth position with 2-9 record. Chunghwa Telecom at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. Taipower are again looking forward to face higher ranked Chunghwa Telecom (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Chunghwa Telecom will have a break next round.
