Very significant was Cathay Life's (#1, 10-1) victory against second-best Taiyuan Textile (7-4) 59-52. They outrebounded Taiyuan Textile 46-33 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by the former international Yi-Xiu Zheng (178-1993) who scored that evening 11 points and 9 rebounds and the former international swingman Yu-Ting Lin (179-1994) supported her with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 9 points and 8 rebounds by forward Pin-Zhen Huang (179-1989) did not help to save the game for Taiyuan Textile. The former international forward Ying-Chieh Wu (179-1992) added 11 points. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-1 record. Taiyuan Textile at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. Cathay Life will again play against league's second-placed Taiyuan Textile in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taiyuan Textile will have a break next round.
