Regular Season Round 41: Shanghai S. - Liaoning FL 101-121

An interesting game for Flying Leopards (30-6) which played road game in Shanghai against second-ranked Sharks (28-8). First ranked Flying Leopards had an easy win 121-101. Flying Leopards made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Flying Leopards outrebounded Sharks 45-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Sharks were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Kyle Fogg (191-1990, college: Arizona) stepped up and scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners and the former international Zhenlin Zhang (206-1999, college: Tulane) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. American Jamaal Franklin (196-1991, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and the former international center Zhelin Wang (214-1994) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Flying Leopards have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 30-6 record. Sharks at the other side keep the second position with eight games lost. They share it with Guangsha L.. Flying Leopards will play against Jiangsu Dragons (#18) in Nanjing in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Sharks will play at home against the league's second-placed Guangsha Lions (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
