Regular Season Round 41: Qingdao E. - Jilin NE T. 80-98

Very predictable result when tenth ranked Jilin Tigers (21-16) won against 15th ranked Eagles (13-24) in Qingdao 98-80 on Thursday. American guard Dominique Jones (193-1988, college: S.Florida) nailed 43 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Yuxing Jiang (193-1995) accounted for 18 points and 8 rebounds. American power forward Dakari Johnson (213-1995, college: Kentucky) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 19 rebounds and forward Zuming Zhang (205-1995) added 8 points respectively for Eagles in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Jilin Tigers. They maintain tenth place with 21-16 record. Loser Eagles keep the fifteenth position with 24 games lost. Jilin Tigers will meet higher ranked Golden Bulls (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Eagles will play against Monkey Kings (#20) and hope to secure a win.
