Regular Season Round 8: Bank of Taiwan - Jeoutai 78-65

An interesting game for Bank of Taiwan (14-5) which played against 3rd ranked Jeoutai (8-11). Second ranked Bank of Taiwan managed to get a 13-point victory 78-65. Bank of Taiwan looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by American swingman Zak Irvin (198-1994, college: Michigan) who scored that evening 16 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) supported him with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 30 points and 21 rebounds by American power forward Jalen Robinson (206-1993, college: Dalton St.) did not help to save the game for Jeoutai. Guard Zong-Lin Lu (175-1993) added 11 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for Bank of Taiwan. Four Jeoutai players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bank of Taiwan have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-5 record behind leader Taiwan Beer. Loser Jeoutai dropped to the fourth place with 11 games lost. Bank of Taiwan will meet league's leader Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jeoutai will play against the league's leader Taiwan Beer and hope to secure a win.
