Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Osaka E. (15-21) was outscored at home by third ranked Tochigi Brex (27-11) 92-69 on Wednesday. Tochigi Brex looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Tongan-New Zealand Isaac Fotu (203-1993, college: Hawaii) notched 22 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American power forward Josh Scott (208-1993, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Four Tochigi Brex players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 5 rebounds by American guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn St.) did not help to save the game for Osaka E.. Spanish center David Doblas (208-1981) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tochigi Brex maintains third position with 27-11 record behind leader Ryukyu GK. Loser Osaka E. keeps the eighth place with 21 games lost. Tochigi Brex will meet at home Hokkaido L.
