The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Gunma CT's (16-18) road victory over 8th ranked Yokohama BC (13-25) 92-84 on Wednesday. Gunma CT made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) notched 40 points (!!!) and 5 assists to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Justin Keenan (202-1989, college: Ferris St.) supported him with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Gunma CT players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds by American power forward Reginald Buckner (206-1991, college: Ole Miss) did not help to save the game for Yokohama BC. Czech Patrik Auda (204-1989, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Gunma CT maintains seventh position with 16-18 record. Yokohama BC lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 25 games lost. Gunma CT will meet higher ranked Chiba Jets (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Yokohama BC will play against San-en NP (#11) in Hamamatsu and hope to secure a win.
