Regular Season Round 7: Taiwan Beer - Yulon Luxgen 75-63

Rather expected game when 4th placed Yulon Luxgen (6-10) was defeated by first ranked Taiwan Beer (15-2) 75-63 on Sunday. Taiwan Beer dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Yulon Luxgen's 32. They outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 41-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Canadian power forward Keanau Post (210-1992, college: Missouri) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) helped adding 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) responded with 27 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and point guard Guan-Xuan Lu (182-1995) scored 15 points and 5 assists. Yulon Luxgen's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Taiwan Beer maintains first place with 15-2 record. Loser Yulon Luxgen keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Taiwan Beer will meet league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yulon Luxgen will play against Jeoutai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
