Regular Season Round 42: Tochigi Brex - Hitachi SRT 81-56
Date: March 13, 2022
No shocking result in a game when third ranked Tochigi Brex (27-11) crushed at home 6th ranked Hitachi SRT (21-18) 81-56 on Sunday. Tochigi Brex made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. American power forward Josh Scott (208-1993, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) notched 8 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) supported him with 7 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 11 points by international point guard Leo Vendrame (183-1993) did not help to save the game for Hitachi SRT. American center Max Hisatake (203-1998, college: IlIinois Tech) added 6 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tochigi Brex maintains third position with 27-11 record behind leader Ryukyu GK. Hitachi SRT lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 18 games lost. Tochigi Brex will meet at home Hokkaido L. (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Hitachi SRT will play against Sea Horses M. in Kariya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
