Very important is a loss of second ranked Bank of Taiwan (11-5) against fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (6-10) on Saturday night. Bank of Taiwan was defeated by Yulon Luxgen in a tough game 79-87. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Bank of Taiwan. Yulon Luxgen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Min-Hao Ke (182-1992) helped adding 15 points and 7 assists. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Zak Irvin (198-1994, college: Michigan) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Bank of Taiwan's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Yulon Luxgen maintains fourth place with 6-10 record. Loser Bank of Taiwan keeps the second position with five games lost. Yulon Luxgen will meet higher ranked Jeoutai (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's leader Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
