Regular Season Round 21: ChelSU - Namys 56-79

8th ranked ChelSU (3-16) was outscored at home by ninth ranked Namys (4-16) with the biggest margin this round 79-56 on Friday night. Namys dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to ChelSU's 32. They outrebounded ChelSU 46-27 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Namys looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by ChelSU's players. The best player for the winners was guard Vladislav Isaenko (193-2004) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Aymergen Almakhun (185-2004) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Adilbek Bitenov (174-2001) who recorded 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and Sergey Kurbatov added 4 points and 7 rebounds respectively. ChelSU's coach Elena Kireeva gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Namys moved-up to eighth place. ChelSU lost their third game in a row. ChelSU at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth position with 16 games lost. Namys will meet at home league's leader Kazygurt in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ChelSU will play against Astana-2 (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
