Date: March 9, 2022
Very predictable result when second ranked Alvark Tokyo (26-8) outscored on the road 11th ranked Niigata A. (5-32) 93-64 on Wednesday. Spanish forward Sebastian Saiz (205-1994, college: Ole Miss) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 23 rebounds for the winners and American center Alex Kirk (211-1991, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 23 points. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Alvark Tokyo. They maintain second place with 26-8 record behind leader Ryukyu GK. Niigata A. lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 32 games lost. Alvark Tokyo will meet at home Akita NH (#4) in the next round.
