Shimane SM outrebounded Kyoto H. 37-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Perrin Buford (198-1994, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up and scored 30 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international guard Seiya Ando (184-1992) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Shimane SM will meet at home Shiga L-Stars (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kyoto H. will play against Toyama G. and hope to secure a win.
