Regular Season Round 13: Kings - Pilots 95-97

The most exciting game of round 13 in the PLeague+ ended with only two-point defeat of 3rd placed Kings (9-6) to fifth ranked Pilots (5-9) 97-95 on Tuesday evening. Pilots dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Kings' 28. Pilots forced 20 Kings turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Devin Robinson (203-1995, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Deandre Liggins (198-1988, college: Kentucky) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international power forward Quincy Davis (203-1983, college: Tulane) added 14 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Kings. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pilots maintains fifth place with 5-9 record. Newly promoted Kings dropped to the second position with six games lost. Pilots are looking forward to face league's leader Fubon Braves in Taipei in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kings will play again at home against Pilots and are hoping to win this game.
