Very expected game in Qingdao where 15th ranked Eagles (10-22) were defeated by second ranked Flying Leopards (26-6) 111-101 on Monday. Flying Leopards made 29-of-36 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Kyle Fogg (191-1990, college: Arizona) who scored 29 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Ailun Guo (189-1993) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. Five Flying Leopards players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Dezmine Wells (196-1992, college: Maryland) who recorded 28 points and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and his fellow American import power forward Dakari Johnson (213-1995, college: Kentucky) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Flying Leopards keep a position of league leader, which they share with Shanghai S. Eagles at the other side keep the fifteenth place with 22 games lost. Flying Leopards will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Eagles will play against Guangsha Lions (#3) and hope to secure a win.
