Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Doha: Al Ahli (#4) and Al Sadd (#3). Al Ahli (10-5) smashed visiting Al Sadd (10-5) by 20 points 85-65. Al Ahli players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by American forward Antwaine Wiggins (203-1988, college: Charleston, agency: BIG) who scored that evening 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Bulgarian guard Earl Calloway (191-1983, college: Indiana, agency: Network Sports International) supported him with 24 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Even a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) by Greek center Zisis Sarikopoulos (213-1990, college: Ohio St.) did not help to save the game for Al Sadd. Point guard Youssef Badr (178, college: Wentworth) added 15 points and 5 assists. Al Ahli moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Al Sadd.
