Date: March 2, 2022
No shocking result in a game when third ranked Tochigi Brex (25-10) won against at home 6th ranked Hitachi SRT (21-16) 68-64 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Josh Scott (208-1993, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. His fellow American import Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward James McAdoo (206-1993, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and international point guard Leo Vendrame (183-1993) added 14 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Tochigi Brex. They maintain third place with 25-10 record behind leader Ryukyu GK. Loser Hitachi SRT keeps the sixth position with 16 games lost. Tochigi Brex will meet at home Yokohama BC (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hitachi SRT will play against Toyama G. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
