Regular Season Round 42: Fukuoka R. - Saga B. 92-113

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Saga B. (21-13) smashed on the road 6th ranked Fukuoka R. (15-23) 113-92 on Friday. Saga B. made 32-of-40 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Fukuoka R. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Takanobu Nishikawa (195-1992) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists. British forward Myles Hesson (198-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Stedmon Lemon (198-1992, college: JCSU) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Gerald Beverly (202-1993, college: Daemen) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saga B. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 21-13 record. Fukuoka R. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 23 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
