Regular Season Round 12: Taichung Suns - TB Herobears 115-95

The most important game in the last round was the one between third ranked TB Herobears (8-6) and fourth ranked Suns (8-6) on Sunday night. TB Herobears were crushed by Suns 115-95. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Filipino-Australian guard Jordan Heading (188-1996, college: CBU) who scored 36 points (!!!). Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Suns players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) who recorded 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import power forward Diamond Stone (210-1997, college: Maryland) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Suns moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated TB Herobears. Suns is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Leopards (#6) in Taoyuan in the next round. TB Herobears will play on the road against the league's leader Aquas in Kaohsiung and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
