Regular Season Round 10: Kings - Dreamers 99-115

The most interesting game of round 10 in the PLeague+ was a home defeat of 4th ranked Kings (7-5) by first ranked Dreamers (8-4) who outscored them by 16 points 115-99. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Dreamers looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Kings' players. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Julian Boyd (203-1990, college: LIU Brooklyn) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Chris McCullough (208-1995, college: Syracuse) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and center Thomas Welsh (213-1996, college: UCLA) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five Dreamers and four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dreamers maintains first position with 8-4 record. Newly promoted Kings dropped to the third place with five games lost. Dreamers are looking forward to face league's second-placed Fubon Braves in Taipei in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kings will play on the road against Lioneers in Hsinchu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
