Rather predictable result when third ranked N.Taipei CTBC (9-5) defeated 5th ranked GhostHawks (2-10) 102-88. It was an exceptional evening for American Marlon Johnson (208-94, college: NMHU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds. The former international forward Mohammad Al Bachir (188-98) accounted for 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Naturalized American power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) came up with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 23 rebounds and American guard Jordan Chatman (196-93, college: Boston Coll.) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for GhostHawks in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. GhostHawks' coach rotated eleven players saving starting five for next games. N.Taipei CTBC moved-up to second place. GhostHawks lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with ten games lost. N.Taipei CTBC will play against TB Herobears (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. GhostHawks will play against Leopards and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
