B2 League top team - FE Nagoya (30-5) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Fukuoka R. (15-21) 104-72. FE Nagoya made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game, while Fukuoka R. only scored six points from the stripe. FE Nagoya forced 21 Fukuoka R. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Fukuoka R.'s players. It was a quality performance for American forward Scootie Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). His fellow American import center Brian Qvale (208-1988, college: Montana) accounted for 19 points for the winning side. Five FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. Guard Taisei Shirato (181-1995) came up with 21 points and American guard Stedmon Lemon (198-1992, college: JCSU) added 16 points respectively for Fukuoka R. in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for FE Nagoya. They maintain first place with 30-5 record. Fukuoka R. lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with 21 games lost.
