Regular Season Round 9: Fubon Braves - Dreamers 83-68

An interesting game for Fubon Braves (7-6) which played against their close opponent Dreamers (7-4). Third ranked Fubon Braves had an easy win 83-68. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and the former international guard Chih-Chieh Lin (192-82) chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Julian Boyd (203-90, college: LIU Brooklyn) with 25 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Randall Walko (196-98, college: TCNJ) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fubon Braves moved-up to second place, which they share with Lioneers. Dreamers at the other side still keep top position with four games lost. Fubon Braves will play against Steelers (#5) in Kaohsiung in the next round. Dreamers will play at home against Pilots (#6) and hope to get back on the winning track.
